White Van Man
Series One of White Van Man - Adrian Poynton's comedy starring Georgia, Will Mellor and Clive Mantle - started on BBC Three and BBCHD on Tuesday 22nd March 2011 at 22:30, followed directly by Episode 2 at 23:00. Subsequent (new) episodes were aired on Tuesdays at 22:30 on BBCThree (and BBCHD) with repeats on BBCThree only during the week.
Series Two of White Van Man was officially confirmed by the BBC on 26th May 2011, with acclaimed comedian Adrian Poynton again helming another six thirty-minute episodes. Filming for the second series took place on Monday September 5th 2011 and finished on Friday 22nd October 2011 (approximately). Filming again took place in and around Manchester. The series commenced airing on BBCThree only from Thursday 23rd February 2012 to Thursday 29th March 2012.
White Van Man Series One featured guest appearances from Gavin & Stacey's Joanna Page, Hotel Babylon's Dexter Fletcher, Psychoville's Debbie Chazen and, making her first ever television appearance with her daughter (Georgia Moffett), actress Sandra Dickinson (in Episode 5).
White Van Man Series Two featured guest appearances by Blake Harrison (as Ricky) and Mark Benton. The whole of the second series will be directed by Iain B. MacDonald and written by Adrian Poynton.
The incidental Dub/ Ska music on both series of White Van Man is written for the series by Glen Gregory (of Heaven 17).
