Short Interview with Georgia Moffett (and Tim Howar) in Doctor Who Magazine (414)

DWM: Hello, (Tim and) Georgia! What sort of story is Dreamland?
GM: "It's got a real feel to it of the old Doctor Whos, and I've only just picked that up, whilst listening to it being recorded. I think it's a bit closer to the older generation of Doctor Who episodes than the newer ones,. It's quite nice, that, actually."
DWM: Tell us about Cassie (and Jimmy)
GM: "Cassie is a young girl who works in a cafe that her mother used to own. She lives in a very small town, and one day this very strange man walks into her life and they go on a really great adventure! She's quite bored, I think, so it's quite brilliant that something out of the ordinary's happened!"
DWM: Georgia, you played Jenny in 2008's The Doctor's Daughter. Does your character have a different relationship with the Doctor this time?
GM: "Yeah, absolutely. The Doctor spent a large amount of that television episode not appreciating Jenny's company, whereas now he's alone, so discovering Cassie and Jimmy is quite exciting. It's nice for him to have some companions again! And David's brilliant to work with, so it's always a joy!"
DWM: Like your dad (Fifth Doctor actor Peter Davison), you've done Doctor Who on television and radio, but now you've gone one step further than him with animation...
GM: "Oh, has he not done an animated one?! I'm quite proud of that! I'm not silly enough to believe that I would necessarily be involved in this if it hadn't been for my father - whether it's because of people noticing me through that connection, or cos of the passion that I had because I was growing up with it - but I am quite proud to have done something he hasn't done! [Giggles] I shall make him sit and watch it, and weep!"
Georgia Moffett was talking to Dan Berry for Doctor Who Magazine.
